Recently, the DAQIAO Workshop of Jiangsu Junye Process Equipment Co., Ltd. was filled with a lively atmosphere. The grand ceremony for the first shipment of the large-scale towers for the Sulzer South Africa project (25 SU136-141) was held. A batch of large-scale process towers that had undergone rigorous inspections throughout the entire process of design, cutting, assembly welding, non-destructive testing, and pressure testing were all ready and would soon be loaded onto large-scale transportation vehicles, crossing the ocean to reach the South African project site. This marked a crucial milestone progress for this overseas key project. The leaders attending the shipment ceremony included: the chairman and general manager of Jiangsu Junye, as well as department heads; Attendees frorm Sulzer team are ,Person in charge of PS in China ,Mr. Luo , Senior Purchasing Manager-Ms. Zhao , Quality Manager-Mr. Liang , Module Manager Mr. Zhu from WOOD , Mr. Fanie van Schalkwyk from Applas, Mr. Shaji Chacko from WOOD, Mr. Han from APAVE, and Mr. Xu from ACCESS WORLD.
This project is a core pressure vessel equipment customized by Sulzer for the overseas engineering of South Africa. The manufacturing standards of the product are extremely strict. The control of materials, welding quality, dimensional accuracy, anti-corrosion coating, and completion documents all comply with the international project's high standards. Since the project started, facing multiple challenges such as multiple versions of drawings, tight manufacturing cycle, and complex technical terms of overseas projects, the company attached great importance to it, coordinated all departments including project management, design, procurement, process, welding, quality inspection, and logistics, and achieved collaborative linkage. The design team efficiently completed the verification, clarification, and confirmation with the client for multiple sets of drawings; the production workshop scientifically arranged production, strictly controlled each key process such as cutting, rolling, assembly welding, post-weld heat treatment, non-destructive testing, and hydraulic test; the quality inspection department was on-site throughout the process to witness and implement all stop-work inspection points, ensuring that the materials of each equipment can be traced, the processes can be verified, and the documents are complete and closed-loop, and fully guaranteeing that the product quality meets the international pressure vessel specifications and the technical agreements of the customers
